Our client is one of the fastest growing technology/SaaS companies in NYC. They are seeking a proven leader to fill their VP of Marketing position. 

Position Summary: The VP of Marketing is a proven winner who has led a high-performance marketing organization at a leading B2B software company. This individual has extensive experience in demand generation across all channels, including digital, press, email marketing, and events.  This executive will design, develop, and drive overall marketing strategy.  The VP of Marketing has excellent analytical and quantitative skills to be able to report and summarize results, in addition to making important strategy decisions based on data.  To be successful in this role, this executive will need to be an independent leader with the ability to execute quickly and decisively, as well as analyze and identify patterns among data sets, and be genuinely enthusiastic about finding innovative solutions to complex problems. This individual will be able to clearly focus on and define the customer’s voice, and align all marketing and branding initiatives in a consistent manner to support business objectives.

Professional Experience & Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of relevant, B2B marketing experience, preferably for a global SaaS software company
  • Proven ability to successfully lead marketing strategy and execution for a complex SaaS software product
  • Ability to plan and execute scalable go-to-market strategies to support company, sector and product growth – both organic and inorganic
  • An understanding of the sales pipeline, key drivers, and the role that marketing plays at each stage of the buyer and customer journeys
  • A history of creating and managing demand generation programs, conversion metrics, new business revenue cost, marketing costs and expenses, ROI, working metrics and KPIs. Includes analytical ability (eg. SQL, Excel) and understanding of attribution and tracking
  • Experience leading project initiatives in content marketing, competitive analysis, communications/PR, social, website, events, and CRM
  • A passion and track-record of conceiving of and executing impactful brand campaigns and content that break through market clutter
  • Ability to influence others and gain buy-in at the team, peer and executive level
  • Superb analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus
